AI-Native UX Leader & Full-Stack Experience Architect

Anas Morsi

For a decade I've done what typically takes two hires: UX design and front-end development. AI-assisted development now extends that reach across product strategy and full-stack implementation, letting me ship complete products on my own. I built Bloomberg Law's Innovation Studio and its first AI legal chat, currently lead UX for U.S. federal (IRS) modernization on the Salesforce platform, and build my own full-stack products (GarKar, Zaytoon) to test new AI development workflows.

Now
  • Lead Experience ArchitectSalesforce
  • Leading UX for U.S. federal (IRS) modernization on the Salesforce platform.
Building
  • GarKar — vehicle marketplace
  • Zaytoon — round-up charitable giving, iOS

#2 Experience

Where the work happened.

Lead Experience Architect

Sept 2024 – Present
Salesforce, Remote
  • Lead UX teams delivering enterprise tools for the U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS), including TP360, a customer-service-representative platform used by IRS agents to manage taxpayer interactions.
  • Architect end-to-end experiences on the Salesforce platform for federal public-sector programs, translating complex compliance and policy requirements into intuitive, accessible interfaces.
  • Use AI tools to accelerate the design-to-build pipeline: translating low-fidelity wireframes into interactive, code-accurate React prototypes that engineering can implement directly.
  • Direct and mentor UX designers, set design direction and standards, and champion Section 508 accessibility across all deliverables.

Senior UX Architect

Jan 2023 – Sept 2024
Bloomberg, Arlington, VA
  • Led AI product design for Bloomberg Law, building the Innovation Studio from scratch — later adopted by Bloomberg Government (BGOV) and Bloomberg Tax (BTAX).
  • Led research and design for Bloomberg Law's generative AI experience as LexisNexis and Westlaw raced to ship conversational legal research.
  • Advised executives against a chat-first replacement of the 15-year-old platform; redesigned around the existing search workflow instead — an AI answer with supporting sources and citations, followed by a grounded "Start Chat" option.
  • Designed Bloomberg Law's first AI legal assistant chat (Bloomberg Law Answers / AI Quick Answers), building every component from scratch for cost-effective implementation.
  • Led the ground-up redesign of Bloomberg Law's design system and its phased rollout plan, improving cross-platform consistency and efficiency.

Consultant — UX Designer & Front-End Developer

Aug 2020 – Dec 2022
Deloitte, Remote
  • Amazon (AWS) — led UX design and research for a solution deployed in 175+ fulfillment centers worldwide; 40+ hours of global user research; high-fidelity wireframes for React Web and React Native; mobile UI built in Flutter.
  • U.S. Department of State — spearheaded UX for a $35M modernization initiative; ran interviews, usability tests, and card sorting; led 10 UAT sessions with 60+ testers ahead of Release 1.

UX Designer — Contractor

June 2019 – March 2020
Michigan Health Specialists, Flint, MI
  • Developed brand identity guidelines in Adobe tools and conducted UX research (employee interviews, patient surveys, usability tests) to optimize the website experience.
  • Redesigned the company website end to end: wireframes/mockups in Adobe XD, then a WordPress build in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) so non-developers could update content.

Front-End & User Experience Developer

July 2016 – Aug 2018
GRID — Design & Technology, Troy, MI
  • Partnered with project managers on design and development for client projects, contributing to the launch of 4+ applications and leading front-end development for an FCA subsidiary web application.
